Yolanda Faye Holden obtained her MA degree in Creative Writing at the University of Pretoria. She works within the field of Education. Yolanda is responsible for, amongst others, managing corporate communications, language services, and the compilation, design and publishing of electronic and printed publications. Having worked in both the private and public sectors, she has gained extensive experience in the field of Communications and has a wealth of practical experience and qualifications, ranging from Project Management to photography, publication design, the evaluation of publications and creative writing. Her writings (both poetry and prose) have been published locally by the Poetry Institute of Africa, LitNet, and a few popular local magazines, and internationally by the International Library of Poetry in the USA and Noble House in the UK. Over and above some informal studies, she obtained her honours degree in Communication at the North-West University. She also has a passion for fashion design and art, painting mainly fantasy themes and portraits.
